2025 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale – Yearling 1 of 3

After conducting our final inspections and further refining our shortlist, the first-season sires whose progeny impressed us most were Home Affairs and Stay Inside.

On Day 1 of the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, the first yearling we bought into was Lot 53, the Home Affairs × Twist Tops filly who was purchased by Lindsay Park Racing from the Newgate Farm draft.

The filly is out of the mare Twist Tops, a daughter of Beneteau who won the Inglis Classic RL at her second start and she also placed in the Magic Night Stakes Group 3 during the same preparation.

Her pedigree and page offered plenty of appeal which comfortably earned her a place on our shortlist. Physically, she presented as a well-balanced filly who walked with plenty of purpose. In addition to her athletic presence, she had bright eyes, large nostrils and big ears – traits or features we like to see in a young filly.

All things going to plan, we look forward to cheering her on at the races as a two-year-old.
